The Polk Audio TL1600 Home Theater System is a compact 5.1 channel system with four similar satellite speakers for front and surround channels, one center channel, and one powered subwoofer for low frequencies. The front and surround features four identical TL1 satellites arranged vertically, with a highly distinctive curved cabinet design developed by Polk Audio. This creates a very distinct visual look, minimizes audio coloration from internal surface resonances, and fixes to create a stiffer case.Â

An all-around high-gloss 'Blackstone' finish gives the speaker a beautiful glossy look, and the front features a removable black fabric grille that covers and protects the drivers. On the back, there's a keyhole bracket that allows you to mount the speaker to the wall, and TL1600 Polk Audio uses 5-way binding posts instead of cheap spring terminals for cable connections.
